Greatest Skin of all time
Once upon a time, the Metro Skins game was not just within your flight but for the entire field. On this dreary rainy day at Willow Lakes the pin on 18 was in it’s usual back left position, just above the ridge on the shelf, needless to say very hard to get it. Many balls have wandered up that shelf only to fall back helplessly to your feet. On this day from under a pine tree off mud and needles from 120 yards, it made its way to the green clipping two trees, just carrying the bunker on the left, and arrived above the hole. When mysteriously the ball began rolling down the slope as if gravity was on his side and into the cup for eagle three and the only skin of the day. 156 players in the field, $10 per man. You do the math.....
